It is in Windsor, CT and is about a 1-2 hour ride from southern RI. This might make an interesting trip for the radio guys. They now have a permanent home in Windsor. The main museum is a large area all on one floor. Their displays are arranged chronologically in an anti-clockwise direction as you walk through the museum. Docents are almost always available to give groups a complete tour which usually takes 1-2 hours. The displays are as diverse as a re-creation of an 1890's vaudeville stage, operating telephone network equipment, a ham radio station, a recreation of a radio repair shop, and numerous radios and radio-related items. They also have a functional TV studio and a radio studio.<br></div><p style="font-family: "times new roman", "new york", times, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 16px;">Their storage area is almost as big as the display floor. They have a stock of floor to ceiling radios, tubes, and parts from all decades. I believe they also offer radio repair classes. Their regular clients consists of schools, Scouts, and various interested individuals and groups/clubs. They offer memberships and have a website. They also sell excess inventory by way of regular flea market events and a deaccession list (the list does not appear to be active at present).<br></p><p style="font-family: "times new roman", "new york", times, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 16px;"><br></p><p style="font-family: "times new roman", "new york", times, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 16px;">I was interested in volunteering there but the nearly 2 hour ride was not for me. I was able to organize a day trip to the museum with the local AACA car club that I belong to. We were treated very well and all had a great day. There are also several good restaurants in the area where you can eat after enjoying the museum.</p><p style="font-family: "times new roman", "new york", times, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0in;
