<font color='black' size='2' face='arial'>Hay All,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>BRRRRRRR..Our first really chilly day...but the sun was shining and helped a lot. We fired up the Columbia Boiler and ran some of the engines and that warmed the Steam Building in anticipation of the visit from the Hasbrouck family. When they arrived Ernie gave them the steam tour and they visited the wireless Building too but I didn't get to see who led that tour.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We had two visitors from California ...father and son who were very impressed with all we had to offer. During our conversation they told me they had connections with a company that was involved in steam engine work and had access to info about pattern making casting and machining engine parts. They said they would send us the information they could acquire to us for our video and still picture use.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>The duplex steam pump we picked up Monday was hoisted off the back of Ernie's truck and put into the shop attic for storage until the spring or summer when Ernie plans to build a permanent stone base for it next to the Lookout Boiler. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Rolf continues to repair the oiling system on the American Ball engine with the assistance of Don.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>After the engine demonstrations were completed we opened all the drains to get ready for winter. The water was shut off and the lines were drained but not blown out...that will happen next week.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Len continues to catalogue the radios in the Wireless Building.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Chris was given some preliminary guidance in the winterizing of the Steam Building...there will be more on that next week.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We also had HOT COFFEE this AM thanks to Ken...and doughnuts courtesy of Chris...It's feeling like Old Home Week.</div>
<div>The coffee really hit the spot and most everyone had a cup.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>That's all I can remember for now.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Till we meet again...Happy Trails to you.</div>
