<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div>Hi Folks,<br></div>Sorry I missed you yesterday. Had a DR appt. early and then off to Newport for work and the company picnic. Yesterday I got several advance copies of the Sept/Oct issue of "Live Steam and Outdoor Railroading" magazine (since my latest model engine restoration article is published in this issue). The ad we have in the magazine looks good and there is a large (1/2 page) write-up with two photos in the "News" section. I believe a copy will be coming to the Museum since we paid for the ad (they don't charge for items in the News section). In either case, I'll bring a copy in the next time I'm at the museum.<br></div>Regards,<br></div>Tim<br></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Fri, Aug 18, 2017 at 3:41 PM, Louis Vertefeuille <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:kingfrog1@verizon.net" target="_blank">kingfrog1@verizon.net</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><font size="2" color="black" face="arial">Hi All,

<div>Work continues on the Wireless Bld'g (Will it ever end?) Craig and Dave are doing an excellent job with rearranging the display cases and have some great ideas for the future which we should see in operation next year. The more we do the more we realize what great improvements we can make for getting our message to the public and making this museum the place to visit. ....More to come on all that as we consolidate our plans for the future. Please... if you have any ideas do not hesitate to pass them on. Small ideas... BIG ideas...Cheap ideas... Costly ideas... everything is important. We can't make the progress we are looking to accomplish without your input. There are a lot of you out there so let's hear from you. We're not promising everything will get done but it gives us a good field to work with as time progresses. </div>

<div>Warren rode the mower Thursday assisted by Lou on the other mower.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Dave Crowell showed up to give us a lesson on painting mullions...We thank Dave for getting a good jump on that project....on the Wireless Bld'g of course.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>George Kudlak who is recuperating from a hamstring injury stopped by and gave us some ideas about glazing the Steam Bld'g replacement windows. He will return next Thursday to get started.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Ken Adams and Lou went over plans for Steam Up and Lou is going to set up a 3 ring binder to put all that information on record in one place for the next Steam up. He will also make a binder for monthly maintenance items.</div>
<div>Seeing that there are so many large and/or lengthy projects that need to be accomplished we should take and prioritize them from the list that Dave Caldwell has made up. We should be hearing from the Board Of Directors as to which of the projects will be approved......more on that after the board meeting.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Randy also stopped by and got into a deep discussion with Craig and Dave as to the arrangement of the improvements they are considering making to the display cases in the Wireless Bld'g.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Bob Merriam stopped by the Mayes Bld'g for his usual morning nap.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Best Regards to all,</div>
